The XL, XLT, and Lariat trims offer a choice between 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains, while the high-performance Raptor is exclusively available in a 4x4 configuration.
The 2026 Ford Ranger offers a versatile lineup of engines to meet different power needs. The standard powertrain for the base models is a dependable 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 270 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft of torque. For those seeking more robust performance, the XLT and Lariat trims have an available 2.7L twin turbo EcoBoost V6 engine that generates 315 horsepower with 400 lb.-ft of torque.
